The History of Monkey Noodle Theatrics

Monkey Noodle Theatrics began in October 2022 as part of Work Happy, a consulting company that used improvisation to coach and train business teams. As the artistic side grew, it shifted into its own nonprofit in January 2023.

Since then, MNT has created and performed original devised theatre, including the musical What I’ve Created and the play The Inkwell Club. The company also performs short form improv, long form performance pieces, and offers classes and workshops for all ages.

After working in two earlier venues, MNT now performs and teaches at The Alley, a black box theatre inside the Alfresco Performing Arts Center.
